  CONTRIBUTIONS

SHHL a chapter of SHHH is a nonprofit organization that is sustained through the generosity of our donors, grants and sponsorships, and membership. By supporting SHHL and our mission, you are joining thousands of others who are making a difference in the lives of people coping with hearing loss.

SHHL:
Provides information and support to people with hearing loss.
Advocate for improved services and products for people with hearing loss such as Medicaid reimbursement, compatible wireless communication devices for hearing-aid users, and movie captioning.
Expand our programs and outreach across our local community.

There are many ways you can help sustain SHHLs programs and services.

Other Ways to Give:

Tribute  Gifts.
In Honor Of–Commemorate an occasion or honor an accomplishment with a tribute gift to SHHL. In addition to your  acknowledgment, a card will be sent to the recipient noting your  thoughtfulness.

Memorial Tribute–Remember someone special with a memorial gift. Donors will receive a thank you letter for their donation and the family will receive a list of donors.

Monthly  Giving.
Monthly giving is a convenient way to  support SHHL throughout the year.
Donations can be made  automatically through your credit card or debit card.

Matching Gifts.
Many companies will match their employees' donations to any registered nonprofit  organization-please check with your employer to see if they offer a  Matching Gifts Program.

Gifts of Stock.
Making a gift of stock offers benefits such as:

Planned  Giving.
Including SHHL in your long-term plans will help ensure SHHL's future. Three examples of planned giving programs are:

bulletLife Income Gifts (Charitable Gift Annuities).
By making a Life Income Gift, you  can receive income for life (or term) and substantial tax deductions. Remaining assets are donated to SHHL.
bulletDonations of Insurance and Retirement  Benefits.
If you have life insurance that was  purchased years ago and is no longer needed, please consider  donating the policy to SHHL. The cash value of the policy can be claimed as a charitable donation and the proceeds are removed from  your estate.
